Who are you and what is your role in the Coventry University Group?
Hi, I am Yasmin and I am one of the lecturers in the Education team here at CU Scarborough on the sunny North Yorkshire coast.
Something else about yourself?
I studied Drama for my first degree travelled around a bit in Israel and China, working with children and in language schools before coming back to the UK to do my PGCE in Early Years. Getting bored of not studying I completed my Psychology degree through the Open University before doing my Masters in Education, focusing on the representation of family in comics for the very young.
Something you learnt during the pandemic or something you started (or stopped) doing that you would like to keep doing (or not doing)
I recently started looking after myself better – both physically and mentally – and really hope to keep doing this!
