Who are you and what is your role in the Coventry University Group?
I am Assistant Professor in Critical Care & Adult Nursing within the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences (HLS). I am also Faculty Lead for Disability and Learning Support and lead on the organisation of support for students with a disability across HLS
Something else about yourself?
I remain registered as a nurse and spent 12 years in clinical practice working in Critical Care, Coronary Care/Cardiology, Emergency Medical Admissions and Cardiothoracic surgery before joining CU in 2002.
I enjoy plenty of outdoors, walking and nature and have a particular interest in archaeology and history
Something you learnt during the pandemic or something you started (or stopped) doing that you would like to keep doing (or not doing)
The pandemic gave me time to reflect on the more important things in life like family, friends and simply showing consideration and kindness for other people around us
